By the Jolf team · Official sources reviewed November 3, 2026

Jolf's Torrey Pines watch covers North only. South is not enabled for monitoring; use the City's official course information for its maintenance status and booking options. North and South are separate 18-hole reservations.

Where to book

The city lists a $50 per-player booking fee for non-residents. Eligible residents pay no booking fee within seven days, or $32 per player for advance bookings. Booking fees are nonrefundable and separate from green fees.

How far ahead can you book?

Residents have a 0–7-day standard window and an 8–90-day advance option. The non-resident window is 0–90 days. The city publishes a daily 7 p.m. release; available dates and times still depend on the current tee sheet.

When should you check for your date?

Count back from the day you want to play. All dates and release clocks use the course’s local time: America/Los_Angeles.

Requires the City's resident credentials. North and South have separate tee sheets; Jolf monitoring covers North only.

What to know before you play

  • Choose North or South deliberately: each is a separate 18-hole round. Check the city's maintenance notices before finalizing a trip around one course.
  • The reservation holder must play, and times cannot be transferred or rescheduled. Check in at least 30 minutes early.
  • For same-day play, the city offers a virtual waitlist after you arrive on the property. Placement depends on openings; joining is not a reservation.

What if tee times are full?

When your date is open for booking, Jolf can monitor supported tee times for your preferred day, time window and number of players. If a matching opening appears, you can receive an email and follow the booking link. Availability can change before you finish booking; Jolf does not reserve the slot or guarantee a cancellation will appear.

Playing Torrey Pines with friends

Decide whether North, South, or either course works before coordinating travel. Share the full budget and keep a backup activity if you are relying on a same-day opening. Use your confirmed reservation, not an assumed cancellation, as the basis for the final arrival plan.

Use a private Jolf round plan to agree on a date and collect interest before booking. Once you have a reservation, add the confirmed time and ask everyone to RSVP. A planning invitation is separate from a reservation with the course.

Yes. Both residents and visitors can reserve Torrey Pines. A valid City Resident Card is required for resident booking privileges and rates.

Can Jolf book Torrey Pines for me?

You complete the reservation with the course or its booking provider under their rules. A Jolf watch, invitation or RSVP does not make or hold a course reservation.

Can I watch for Torrey Pines cancellations?

You can save a watch for matching available tee times at Torrey Pines Golf Course - North. A returned cancellation is one possible source of an opening, but Jolf cannot identify every opening as a cancellation or promise that one will appear.

Does every player need a Jolf subscription?

No. Planning rounds, invitations, RSVPs and saved groups are free. The organizer can use a free single-course watch or choose Plus for more watches and multi-course monitoring.
