A day, a course, and your people

San Francisco and Bay Area tee times

Find a round by choosing the day you can play, a realistic time window, and the number of players who are ready to join. Jolf brings supported courses into one search and lets you save a watch for matching openings. The guides below explain how to get on at six public courses in San Francisco and nearby Pacifica.

One active watch at one course is free. No card required.

Start with a playable plan

Three choices that make your search useful.

  1. Pick the day and time window.

Choose the San Francisco Bay Area in the calendar, then the day you want to play. Start with the time you can actually reach the first tee. Include travel and check-in in your plans, and leave enough daylight for the round you want. Broaden the window only if everyone can make those times.

  2. Count the players who are in.

Search for your actual party size. A single opening does not fit a foursome, and booking extra places before friends commit can leave you responsible for cancellation or no-show charges. Set a per-player budget everyone is comfortable with.

  3. Choose courses you would play.

Decide on nine or 18 holes and how far you will travel. In Jolf, open the details of a matching tee time to review its rate and booking option. If nothing fits, save a watch for your preferred search.

When your first choice is full

Check the window. Then watch for an opening.

Is the date open for booking?

An empty result does not always mean a sold-out course. The date may be outside the reservation window, the selected rate may have different rules, or the available times may not fit your filters. Start with the course guide and its official booking information.

Could a later opening work?

If the date is open but no time fits, choose “Watch this search” in Jolf. Save the day, time window, and player count you want, and opt into email alerts. A matching opening can come from a cancellation or another inventory change; an alert does not hold it.

Get the group ready before the opening appears.

Agree on the day, spending limit, and acceptable courses while you search. A private Jolf round plan gives friends a place to respond without losing the details in a group chat. After you reserve, share the confirmed tee time and arrival plan. An invitation or RSVP is separate from a course reservation.

Before you head out

Good questions. Clear answers.

Do I need to live in San Francisco to play these courses?

The six courses in these guides are open to the public. Resident discounts and booking options have their own eligibility rules. Choose a rate you qualify for and bring the documentation the operator requires; public access does not guarantee an available tee time.

Can I find a nine-hole round near San Francisco?

Fleming 9 at TPC Harding Park and Gleneagles at McLaren Park are nine-hole options in this guide collection. Select the intended course and check the number of holes in the reservation. Leave a time buffer rather than assuming every nine-hole round takes the same amount of time.

Does Jolf show every Bay Area tee time?

Jolf searches supported courses and booking options. Its results are not a complete inventory of every Bay Area course or every rate. Check the course or provider when you need to confirm a specific offer, resident option, or reservation term.

Can I watch for a weekend foursome?

Yes. Choose the date, time window, and four players when saving a watch for a supported course. One active single-course watch is free. A match depends on openings that fit the whole party; neither an opening nor a successful reservation is guaranteed.
